...Jesus said to his disciples "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God." When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked "Who then can be saved?" Jesus looked at them and said, "With humans this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

hello world!
been really busy this week. had to do JST or what used to be called Job Club - looking for work at an employment office for a few hours every day. oh joy of absolute joys! lots of sore computer-eyes, flouro lights and out of work people who are depressed about there being no work. FUN!
also did a training day on friday to be an after school hours community coach - basically getting the tick so i can teach circus to kids in after school care - an initiative by the govt to get kids active - bring it on! realised during the training how much i hate competitive sports and therefore how much i love the circus community, which is all about encouragment and getting better at your own speed and not about winning, points, scoring or being 'against' someone else.
then that night i floated around an indoor pool on an inner tube in a dress and gloves (and wonderfully bad clip on earrings) and then swanned around talking to people and "looking for my 7th husband" and got paid for it! oh the random joys of performing! POG were also performing at the event - 1st time that has happened...fun stuff!
THEN last night neil, mum and i went out for my bday (next wed) to the australian chamber orchestra - amazing stuff! fantastic baritone solos from teddy tahu rhodes (who incidently looked like a thunderbird....eek!)
so its been a busy week! how are YOU all goin?

I got the part of Andy! hurrah! show is from 10th to the 25th November, so I expect you all to be there! It's on at the Roo in shellharbour. Yay! Did a bit of a read through of act 1 yesterday and its such a funny script. lotsalarfs... so, i get to start learning tap dancing on sunday! for anyone who has ever seen me dance, you will know that this may prove quite hilarious! it took me a full 5 minutes to learn the box step for crying out loud!
This past week end has been one of big ups and downs, as little Julian passed away on Saturday morning. So sad. Our prayers and thoughts are with Richie and Tenille. If praying's the thing you do, please pray for them as they grieve. It just sucks.
We also learnt that our beloved minister Steven Swanepoel (the bloke who married us) is leaving St mark's. Boo! He's been great in trying to get St Mark's to be open to change, and different ways of doing church. We'll miss him...

So, lots of up and down, my head's all over the place! Also i'm doing Job Club this week for centrelink (oh Joy of JOYS!) and a big gig for WOW up in Emerton (near blacktown) on friday.
love to all!

gday all!
today i had my first audition since college - for Andy or Lynne from 'Stepping Out'. This is a great show about a bunch of people who have dance lessons together, and their lives as they get to know each other. If i get a part i get to learn how to tap dance!! yay! its and amateur show with Roo Theatre down at shellharbour. the crew i auditioned with all knew each other, and i suspect had been in shows together previously.... quite possibly a few musicals....eek!....so it will be interesting to be an outsider in that little sub-culture if i get in. :)
i will hear tonight or tomorrow...eek!
